Toddler Motor Group

Ages 12 mo-  2yr

Tuesdays  11-12pm

​Let your child explore the safe, sensory rich environment while caregivers connect with each other and learn about:

  • developmental milestones

  • ways to promote neuro-development

  • science based parenting strategies

Kindergarten
Social Emotional Booster

Fridays   2:15pm-3:15pm   

Ages 5-6yr

These groups provide opportunities in a smaller setting for your child to work on the skills they need in a larger classroom. With individualized attention, and a strong focus on social emotional, we play interactive games that weave in all the underlying skills that help a child attend and engage in activities expected in the K curriculum.

Kids will Learn:

  • Early executive functioning skills

  • Social skills around group participation

  • Self-Regulation skills

  • Foundations of handwriting through sensory-motor play

  • Core strength needed for fine and gross motor

  • Bilateral coordination

  • Following 3 step projects

Life Hacks for Kids:
Social Emotional Made Fun

Fridays  Sept 12- Dec 12th

K- 2nd 3:30pm-4:30pm

3rd-5th graders 4:45-5:45pm

These groups provide a social emotional and executive functioning boost for 7 to 11 yr olds. It weaves in the executive functioning skills that are necessary for social skills. With individualized attention, we play interactive games and cook. The kids get to put what they are learning into action in real-time!  Parent education is a key component so you can carry over what your child is learning at home. 

Kids will learn how to:

  • Take other people’s perspective

  • Join play 

  • Recognize when you say/do unexpected things & how that impacts peers

  • Stay with the group plan and be flexible in play

  • Make a wise choice when conflict arises 

  • Visualize and plan using the Get Ready Do Done method

  • Improve their ability to guestimate time with visual tools

In a sensory gym at 412 Red Hill Ave San Anselmo, CA 

How do I know if my child is the right match for these groups? 

These groups are designed for typically developing children who are needing a boost. If your child has more significant needs please reach out about 1:1 or duet services. 

 

Can we get reimbursement from insurance? 

You will receive a super bill and some families have gotten reimbursed. Check with your insurance on mental health coverage.
